Important Dates to Remember:

September 12th - Summer Faith Tour 2010 concludes at Wickes Park #2.

Children's Church is every Sunday morning during worship through June 20th and then will take a summer break until September.

Confirmation Class is usually every Sunday at 6 PM. Confirmation class is taking a summer break and will restart in September.

High School age youth usually meet on second and fourth Sundays of each month from 6 - 8 PM except for a June - August summer break.

Youth Cafe (Confirmation, Middle and High School age!) - on the second Sunday of each month at 9 AM except for a June - August summer break.

Faith Formation Programs:

Child and youth education programs are part of our Faith Formation Ministry Team. Programs include Children's Church, vacation bible school, high school youth study, preparation for first communion and confirmation instruction. Heidi Trepkowski, our Coordinator of Children and Youth Ministries, along with a dedicated group of energetic volunteers strive to assist our children and youth develop a closer and deeper relationship with our Lord through our education and faith development ministries.

Splash: Birth to Three Faith Formation: As a congregation, we support parents in fulfilling the promise they made at their child's baptism. Those three splashes of baptismal water signify the beginning of a wondrous journey as a child of God and Splash is one of Resurrection's ways of participating in that journey. Please let Pastor Kathleen, or the office know about any child born in your family.

Confirmation Ministry: Youth start our confirmation preparation program as they enter sixth grade. Please call the office and let Pastor Kathleen know if you are aware of a youth in grades 6 - 8 who needs to be contacted about confirmation. Class usually runs from 6 - 8 pm on Sunday evenings except for the summer months. This is a three year program of study, friendship and service activities. Summer break June - Aug.

Youth Cafe: The second Sunday of each month at 9 AM, is the time for confirmation and high school youth to get together for some 'talk time' at the Youth Cafe. Drinks and possibly breakfast are provided. A good time will take place. Make sure you're there. Summer break June - Aug.

High School: High school age youth meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 6 to 8 PM. Summer break June - Aug.

Music: All God's children have a place in the choir and that includes all elementary age children. We meet during Children's Church to learn songs and play bells and rhythm instruments as part of the lesson for the day. We also sing and play instruments in worship every other month. All you have to do is be here for worship and you can be an important part of the choir!
